Final Book Theme

For my final theme of my book I have decided to go with the theme, "The City is Our Campus: College in NY." I will have a series of portraits of youth in the city (people I know, but also some I don't). I will also have the typical NY scene as seen as a youngster residing in the city, daily scenes that one would be exposed to as a youth here. The purpose of my theme is to capture the daily life and uniqueness of being young and living in this crazy city. Some of my pictures will be taken with flash and some won't. I have tried to incorporate a mix of photos taken during the day and some taken in the evening. In addition, the portraits will be a blend of posed and off-guard images, I want to be able to evoke emotion through the pictures, meaning not only portraying the happy times of being young and in NY, but also portraying the difficulties youths deal with and face here.
